Huon Valley Dental Care Centre was established in September 2008 by Dr Chris Carr, a highly qualified and experienced Dental Surgeon, who purchased the practice from Dr John Walduck. Patients who have previously attended this practice under the care of Dr Walduck are more than welcome to phone us to make an appointment.
Situated right in the heart of Huonville, at 89 Main Street, the Practice is easily locatable and offers wheelchair access. Converted from a private residence, we retained the warm and friendly waiting room (formerly the sitting room) and the beautiful rose garden. Dr Carr has added a wide variety of eye catching South African wildlife portraits, photos and sketches throughout the practice.
The objective of Huon Valley Dental Care Centre (HVDCC) is to provide a wide range of quality dental services to our patients, with a focus on information, prevention, education and management of dental care.
Our dentts are highly qualified and experienced professionals, with a very positive reputation their kind, gentle and thorough approach. Dr Carr is highly experienced in the areas of dentures, surgery, dental implants and all aspects of dental care and education.
We offer a wide variety of treatments in a thoroughly modern practice, and thorough assessments including the latest digital x-ray technology which offers high quality imaging to assist with diagnosis and assessment. In addition Dr Carr offers cone-beam x-rays as required, enabling a thorough CT scan of problem areas (for example when planning dental implants).
